The?Veteran Advocacy Project (VAP) Service Awards will take place this evening in New York City! Please help us reach our fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation today! Every dollar counts and goes towards helping our most deserving veterans and their families. ? VAP relies on your donations to fund crucial elements of our work, such as forensic psychological evaluations that double the win rate of discharge upgrade applications before Department of Defense Review Boards. ? An investment in these legal cases not only changes the life of a veteran and their family, but also brings federal dollars into local communities, reduces reliance on local emergency systems, and decreases justice-involvement. ? Since launching in August 2010, VAP has assisted 6,000+ veterans, with a focus on those living with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, substance dependency, and other mental health conditions. We provide access to health care and benefits, keep families in their homes, and empower veterans by removing barriers to recovery and success. VAP Executive Director Coco Culhane said, “We are eternally grateful to our event sponsors who continue to support our mission, ensuring our veterans receive the advocacy they need to thrive. Thank you to Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Drexel Hamilton, Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, The Blank Family Charitable Fund, CMO2Go,Inc., WorkBetterNow Now, and ANDREW W. SINGER.
