With the recent completion of construction at Middlesex Community College in Lowell, Vantage was thrilled to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Nursing School's new space at MCC's Derby Building! ? We'd like to thank our internal project team – Andy Roy, Kasey O'Brien and Stefano Mochi for managing this project, as well as our project partners - NV5, William Sloan Architects, VAV International, RW Sullivan and Leslie Saul & Associates for helping to bring this project to life. ? It is always exciting to celebrate the completion of a new project, especially when we have the opportunity to hear about the impact that our work will have on current and future students. Each year, Vantage Builders partners with School on Wheels of Massachusetts on a “Tools for School” supply drive for K-12 students in the Greater Boston Area. This year, some of our team had the opportunity to further extend our support of this great organization by volunteering at their headquarters to pack even more backpacks for students in need this school year. On this #ThrowbackThursday, we are excited to revisit a project for Berkeley Investments at Waltham's Watch Factory. We’ve worked with Berkeley on many projects at the Watch Factory: renovations, tenant improvements, and base building upgrades. This project was a 20,000 SF renovation for Devoted Health. Devoted Health, a healthcare company on a mission to dramatically improve the health and wellbeing of older Americans, had been leasing temp space and moved into larger, permanent space on the second floor. The design brings in the brick-and-beam construction of the historic building, with exposed ceilings and ductwork providing character. The space features an open office environment, with six huddle rooms and ten conference rooms of varying sizes encouraging collaboration. Vantage Builders is thrilled to announce that we are partnering with the JCJ ARCHITECTURE team on an exciting new project at University of Massachusetts Lowell this semester! We are turning a once under-utilized bookstore into a state-of-the-art eSports Arena, which will be a game-changer for the University’s gaming community. This renovation will breathe new life into the space with the addition of cutting-edge features, designed to elevate the eSports experience. The project scope includes the construction of a broadcast room, IDF/electrical room, a dedicated AV room, a team room, check-in/lounge area, and of course, the arena itself—equipped with multi-tiered ceilings, access flooring, custom built-in casework, and all new furniture, appliances and equipment! On this #ThrowbackThursday, we're excited to revisit a project for Largo Inc. Vantage Builders was hired to renovate manufacturing and office space at Largo's U.S. headquarters. Largo Clean Energy is a global leader in providing products, materials, and solutions for a low-carbon future. The Vantage team constructed a new equipment testing area, chemical lab, stack cleanroom, mechanical/electrical storage room, and shipping/receiving area. The project included significant MEP work - HVAC, compressed air lines, fire protection, and chiller lines. A new chiller pad was added outside, with cold and hot water piping installed to support Largo's manufacturing.
