Vanta's Mission: To help companies grow by connecting them with new team members who embody that company’s intellectual, cultural, and emotional DNA. This is truly RaaS - Recruiting as a Service. We’ve spent time as both external and internal recruiters and as HR professionals. We’ve noticed that there’s a large gap in what people want from a recruiting agency and what they get. All companies want team members and colleagues they can rely on and work side-by-side with, but most recruiting efforts focus on just matching skills to needs. While skills are important, knowing that your newest teammate is someone who you actually want to work with, who fits the culture, and who wants to be part of your mission is even more important. We started VANTA Partners with the goal of creating a unique experience that not only finds the best skillset match, but that methodically evaluates company culture and mission to find candidates that are naturally aligned. We apply process to tease out important characteristics of your company and team, and then mirror those processes in recommending prospective team members who can also add diversity and new perspectives. Network, but Make It Fun No, you don’t have to cold-message 500 strangers on LinkedIn, but do reach out to industry contacts, attend events if you can, and—this is key—actually talk to people. Think of it as professional mingling, not desperate job-seeking. Be Open, But Know Your Worth Some industries are booming, while others are playing hard to get. Stay flexible with roles, industries, or locations if possible, but don’t sell yourself short. Your skills are valuable—act like it. Own it. Be confident... not cocky. Take Breaks Before You Break Down Refresh, recharge, and maybe rewatch The Office for the 12th time. Burnout won’t get you hired faster, but showing up energized and confident will. It’s easy to panic-apply to anything that pays in actual money, but the goal isn’t just a job—it’s the right one. The best companies want the right fit too, so hang in there. The job market is tough, but so are you.
