Our team had an absolute blast this weekend at BOO at the ZOO! ???? It was fantastic to see so many families and creative costumes, from the spooky to the downright adorable. We love any chance to get out, connect, and celebrate with our community—thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello! ??

VanDerGinst Law is proud to announce that President/CEO, Dennis VanDerGinst has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley. The Mission of Boys & Girls Clubs is to “Empower all youth to reach their highest potential by providing safe spaces and transformative experiences.” To do so the organization offers programs addressing the arts, character & leadership, education & career planning, health & wellness, and sports & recreation. Dennis is excited to begin this role. It is a position consistent with the law firm’s mission to assist children within the communities it serves.

We are proud to announce that for the fifth year in a row VanDerGinst Law has been voted as the Best Law Firm and Dennis VanDerGinst was voted the Best Attorney in the Reader’s Choice survey. We are so grateful to those who voted for us, and we are humbled by the support of the communities we serve. We are keenly aware that there is no science involved in determining who is “the best” at providing legal services. The other firms and attorneys who were nominated are all worthy candidates and we were proud to be in their company. We do not take it for granted, and we will continue to try to deserve it every day.” This also marks the sixth time the firm has been awarded this recognition in the seven years it has existed.

Last night some VanDerGinst Law staff enjoyed a night at The Quad City River Bandits playoff game in our suite. They lost but have a chance to redeem themselves on September 12th. We appreciate our partnership with Shawn Brown, The River Bandits and our suite at Modern Woodmen Park. We look forward to cheering the Bandits on in the playoffs and next season.

When the Twin Towers fell, as a nation united . . . we stood. In the shadow of a vitriolic political climate, let’s put aside our differences and remember that shoulder-to-shoulder we have overcome the terror represented by September 11, 2001. Today, let us forget the discord of politics and remember the heroism of our first responders, honor the memory of those who perished, and replicate the unity we shared in the face of diversity.

On September 3rd and 4th, the VanDerGinst Law team from our Chicago, Des Moines, and Florida offices gathered in Moline IL at the main headquarters for a in depth company-wide training seminar. We’re always striving to grow as a team and deliver the highest level of support and representation.
