On this Veteran's Day, we honor our project manager Chris Sansevieri. While in college, Chris enlisted in the NC Air National Guard in 2007 as a generator mechanic until he commissioned as a Civil Engineer officer in 2015. He has deployed twice in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and currently serves in the CA Air National Guard. In this photo, he is pictured second from right. In honor of the upcoming Veterans Day, Van Dyk would like to celebrate the many veterans we have amongst our employees. These are individuals who have proudly served our country, on American soil and overseas. We admire and appreciate their sacrifice and their dedication. We salute them. #veteransday #thankyou Roberto Hidalgo served in the United States Air Force from 1985-1989, and in the Reserves until 1993. He was inspired to serve his country, following in the footsteps of others in his family. Roberto is one of our most experienced technicians, having worked on hundreds of Van Dyk installations, and recently celebrated his 27th year at Van Dyk. Josiah Linquist served in the Marine Corps from 2018-2022 as a Fire Direction Control Man. He is pictured here getting his promotion in Okinawa, Japan, as well as in Thailand during training. Josiah is a recent addition to Van Dyk, but has already proven himself to be a valuable technician on some of our biggest installations. Kai Ebert joined the Marine Corps in 2013 and served until 2018 as an Avionics Technician, fixing electronic countermeasures gear on F18s. He and another of Van Dyk’s own, Tyler Bohnenkamp, were deployed to Japan together in 2015. Kai says the Marines gave him the opportunity to fulfill personal goals and meet some of the greatest people he’s ever met, all while serving the country he loves. #SemperFi Mark Neitzey served 8 years in the Air Force Reserve, from 1989-1997. As our Director of Sales since 2014, Mark has been instrumental in designing many of the largest and most advanced recycling plants in the country. Peter van der Heijden served in the Dutch National Service starting in 1979, in which he trained in the artillery as BTC, battery commander on long distance cannons. While completing his service in the Army Reserve, he rose to the rank of first lieutenant. Peter has worked for Van Dyk for 22 years as Logistics Manager, coordinating freight shipments of our equipment.
