Here are three critical mistakes that could cost you—and how to fix them. 1?? Lack of Preparation Negotiation isn't just about responding to objections; it's about controlling the conversation. If you walk into a negotiation without knowing your customer's pain points, priorities, and decision-making process, you're already at a disadvantage. Preparation means gathering insights into their business challenges, past purchasing behaviors, and the competitive landscape. It's also about understanding your value—what makes your offer compelling beyond just price? Without this groundwork, you risk being reactive rather than strategic.
