It was a very chilly day, but it didn't freeze the enthusiasm of everyone who attended our Fiber Expansion Project ribbon cutting ceremony in Patagonia yesterday. The VIPs in the crowd were recognized prior to our speakers each saying a few words regarding this historic day, including Valley CEO Troy Judd, who recognized the many Valley employees in attendance. After cutting the ribbon to officially kick off the project, residents met with our Customer Relations staff at Cady Hall to ask questions and to pre-sign up to be the first on their street to have our fiber Internet service when construction is finished. We want to give a big thank you to the Arizona Commerce Authority, whose grant funding for this fiber expansion project is making the improvement of Internet service in our rural community possible!

?? Exciting News for Graham County! We are thrilled to announce that our efforts to expand broadband access in rural Arizona have taken a major leap forward! Thanks to funding from the Arizona Commerce Authority - Broadband Office, we are launching a fiber project that will bring high-speed internet to the communities of Bryce, Eden, and Ft. Thomas. ?? This project underscores our commitment to closing the digital divide and ensuring every community has access to the opportunities that broadband connectivity brings—whether it's for education, business, healthcare, or simply staying connected with loved ones. As a rural provider, we believe in investing in our communities, and what better way to give back than helping create a safe, fun, and vibrant space where kids can play, grow, and make memories that will last a lifetime. ?? We enjoy getting out in our communities and connecting with our youth, and one of our favorite ways is through career fairs. This week, we were out at Duncan Schools talking to the students about their futures and how Valley is an important and viable opportunity to make a living in the rural areas we serve. Jared, one of our Construction Techs, was on hand to give fiber splicing demonstrations and answer any questions the kids had.
