The Small Business Financial Assistance Program (SBFAP) has successfully distributed all available funding, with over $1.6 million going to small businesses along the South Central Extension/Downtown Hub route! ?? Through this first-of-its-kind program, we've awarded 272 grants to 73 businesses along the South Central Extension/Downtown Hub light rail route since 2021.? Funded by the City of Phoenix and the Phoenix Community Development and Investment Corporation, this program provided direct financial assistance to locally owned, small businesses immediately adjacent to light rail construction.? While this program closes out, our commitment to the success of local businesses continues. Businesses located along the extension can still access free business consulting services.
