Valley Children’s is proud to be a Founding partner of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Fresno County ?? This powerful initiative will promote literacy and reading across the region, gifting a book monthly to children ages 0-5. We believe the best way to raise literacy rates is through providing free, age-appropriate new books to kids - just like the Imagination Library will do in the community and what we do for our patients with our George’s Book Club initiative. We are honored to lend our support to this project to encourage children’s development and success through reading! ??: Valley Children’s Library Services and Program Manager and George’s Book Clinic Program Coordinator, Brian Baker.

Each year, our NICU team creates custom costumes to celebrate some of our tiniest patients' first Halloween! Every patient in our NICU is provided a costume and is dressed by their nurses to create smiles and special memories for families. We appreciate our NICU team for continuing this beloved tradition and bringing their best for our patients and families! ??
