Our #CEDAC blog, Insites, currently features an overview of the early-stage project funding we helped deliver in Q2 of fiscal year 2025. The Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC) provided $1.7 million in pre-development and acquisition funding that will create or help preserve affordable housing in communities across Massachusetts. This includes the innovative Econo Lodge Redevelopment in Hadley - spearheaded by the Valley Community Development Corporation (Valley CDC). Valley CDC plans to convert the Econo Lodge Motel into 50 units of permanent supportive housing (PSH). This is one of several hotel conversion projects that CEDAC is currently assisting, with the plan to create more PSH units for homeless individuals.
