#TechTuesday Spotlight: Laser Layouts with LIGHTYX ??? Recently, Wise had the opportunity to demo cutting-edge laser layout technology from Lightyx at the site of our multi-floor office renovation in Boston, MA. ??? Our team—including Superintendent Peter Lloyd, VDC experts Matthew Emond and Shubham Khatavkar (SK), CMIT, and the crew from Lighthouse Electrical Contracting, Inc.—explored how this innovative tool could reduce framing time and elevate layout workflows. What does Lightyx do? This laser projector brings CAD plans to life by projecting them directly onto the floor, making the plotting of layouts faster, more accurate, and highly efficient. It’s also a game-changer for verifying floor flatness and existing condition dimensions ?? ?? The demo delivered impressive results: using Lightyx, we completed layout work for two levels in just two days—a task that traditionally would have taken 3–4 days per level. That’s 70–80% in time savings! Tools like Lightyx show how embracing technology can streamline operations, ensure precision, and keep projects ahead of schedule. #EvolveContinuously #BuildingBeyond #WeAreWise
