In addition to the full-floor demolition and interior buildout we delivered on the 9th floor, our team simultaneously renovated and expanded Quincy’s Lounge, an amenity space located on the second level of 550 W. Another interiors project complete! Check out the ninth floor of 550 W. Adams, featuring a full-floor demolition and the buildout of several new spec suites. Near to Chicago Union Station, this Class A high-rise offers a meaningful sense of place to both the suburban and urban workforce. In addition to the newest spec suites, our team also renovated and expanded Quincy's Lounge, a comprehensive amenity space located on level two (photos forthcoming). Welcome home, Stockbridge! Here are a few snaps of the interior renovation our team delivered on the 53rd floor of?300 N. LaSalle, for a real estate investment management firm. The buildout skillfully balanced the reuse and preservation of existing conditions and infrastructure – while incorporating new features such as frameless glass office fronts, refined millwork, and newly minted spaces (adding social hubs and wellness rooms). In all, a very successful project completed alongside incredible partners and for a top-tier client. We kicked off the week with a ceremonial #groundbreaking to honor the Carole Robertson Center for Learning, and their upcoming #majorrenovation in Little Village. Beyond shovels, hardhats, and dirt, the day was filled with inspiring words from Center staff, community leaders, and elected officials — visionaries who've worked tirelessly for the funding and support needed to transform these facilities into vibrant places for early education and youth development. Valenti is so honored to be selected as the GC partner alongside Preston Design and Construction Consulting, Perkins Eastman, Elara Engineering, and TERRA Engineering, Ltd. We look forward to transforming this flagship location, ensuring every dollar invested translates into lasting value for the kids and families the Center serves. Threading the needle in the world of construction is dependent on thorough advance preparation. It was crane day last week for The Frances Xavier Warde School project at their Old St. Patrick's campus in the West Loop. Our team had a one-shot opportunity during the school’s fall break to deliver three sizable RTUs and exhaust fans through the roof of the building. Multiple onsite meetings with State Mechanical Services, ABCO Electrical Construction & Design, and Nichols Crane Rental led to a strategic, step-by-step plan. Equally important — proactive communication with our client and the surrounding community, managing the impact for neighbors, roadways, traffic, cyclists, ongoing school activity and more. All went precisely to plan thanks to our tactical project teams. The modernization of FXW's MEP infrastructure will ensure high quality air supply to the facilities and community they serve. This summer we broke ground on a critical expansion and renovation project for Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook. Our #nonprofit client has just one goal, which is “to foster the social and emotional wellbeing of children and youth.” YSGN offers various programs including counseling, crisis intervention and socialization groups. Adding new volume to their existing building will support additional therapy rooms and the expansion of services. The structure and shell of the addition are complete, and our teams are now working through exterior finishes, sitework, and the interior renovation. We’re proud to execute this build, but even more so to champion this client and project by minimizing costs, maximizing value, and working with their board and community members to secure/utilize donated materials. With a December delivery in sight, the reimagined building will serve as a valuable asset to YSGN and the families they serve. Project “Elevate Edgewood is finally complete! ?? ?? The wait is over, and we’re thrilled to reveal the stunning transformation of Edgewood Valley Country Club! With expanded spaces designed to elevate every guest’s experience, this renovation marks a new chapter for the Club. The project included a partial demolition of the existing building, an expanded ballroom and dining area, a larger kitchen, an event space, and more.
