The FRIENDS OF THE BELEN PUBLIC LIBRARY are philanthropically fantastic Friends of VSS too! Knowing just how transformative the power of #Books, #Puzzles, #Art #Supplies, & #School Supplies can be- they donated funding to ensure Helen's House Emergency Shelter Kiddos will be well-read, scholastically & artistically supplied, inspired, and empowered to dream and do as they start their journey to hope, heal, and build new lives free from abuse! The #FriendsOfTheBPL provide funding and volunteers to support the programs and initiatives of the Belen Public Library. They support the Library’s Summer Reading Programs for children, teens, and adults, as well as a variety of initiatives like technology enhancements for the Teen Hub and nonfiction book acquisitions for the Children’s Room, and administer the Deborah Graham Memorial Scholarships for local college-bound high school seniors.
