On November 21, Valaurum joined several local business innovators for an awards breakfast hosted by the Portland Business Journal. This event was created to honor Makers and Manufacturers in the Portland Metro Area and recognize their tremendous achievements that drive our local economy. ? As our Founder and CEO, Adam Trexler, Ph.D., noted in his personal recollections about the event, Valaurum has experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years. From our early days, to opening our first factory doors in 2021, to doubling our manufacturing output less than two years later, we remain committed to the creative excellence that is a hallmark of Portland’s thriving business community. ? It’s a considerable honor to be named one of Portland’s top 15 Manufacturers of the Year, as well as a testament to the talent and dedication of the entire Valaurum team. We were thrilled to share the awards stage with such Portland-area legends as Bob's Red Mill, Smith Teamaker, Timberlab, and Leatherman Tool Group, among others. Thank you to the Portland Business Journal, the historic Sentinel Hotel, and our fellow honorees for such a wonderful experience.

Earlier this month marked a significant milestone for Valaurum and our shareholders. I am proud to announce the purchase of?an?entire block of intellectual property, including US patents, international patents, trademarks, and trade secrets connected to the Aurum?.?This deal represents the biggest acquisition in Valaurum’s history.?? ? In 2012, I became acquainted with a remarkable technology that allowed gold to be deposited, atom by atom, to make a precise “bill” of precious metal. My doctoral research in the collapse of the gold standard led me to found?Valaurum, with?the thesis that this was an invention of historical importance. I negotiated a worldwide, exclusive license for this technology?and founded?Valaurum.? ? Since then, our team has transformed the core Aurum? technology into the most secure form of precious metal the world has ever seen. Also over this period, we?scaled the market?for the Aurum?, from a garage lab producing test units, to a state-of-the-art production facility producing millions of bills each year.? ? This?monumental?acquisition means Valaurum’s entire IP?portfolio is now consolidated under?the Company’s full ownership.
