The devastation caused by Helene has deeply impacted our neighbors across North Carolina ??. Homes, businesses, and communities have been severely affected, and countless families are in need of immediate support. United Ways across the state are stepping up to help those who need it most. Thank you to these incredible philanthropic leaders for joining Duke Energy Corporation in Raleigh today for an early kick off to our Power of Giving campaign! I was thrilled to hear Carly, Maggie, Shirnetta, Nora, and Eric share the tremendous work their organizations are leading in our local community with 100 Duke Energy teammates gathered for lunch today. Our team left inspired and ready to make a difference. Duke Energy knows great things happen when you give back, and our annual employee giving campaign, the Power of Giving, is a tremendous example of this. Thousands of nonprofit organizations see millions in employee donations every year, impacting and improving the communities we serve.
