We are thrilled to announce that our annual Celebración Hispana is taking place on October 12 this year! Join us for a night full of fun and culture! We will have a key note speaker, vendors, performers, live music and food. Our executive board has been working on this event for some time and we could not be more excited for you all to experience it! We are beyond excited to partner with the talented Damien, a student at UWSP, as he prepares to debut his upcoming EP, BOYGIRL. This isn’t just a concert—it’s a night dedicated to making a real impact. The proceeds from this concert will go directly to The Charles E. Kubly Foundation, helping them continue their essential work in providing hope and support to those who need it most. Their commitment to raising awareness and preventing suicide is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to support their mission through this event. Hola Familia! We are incredibly proud of our members who have secured and been excelling in their summer internships. Join us as we highlight their achievements and celebrate their successes! Kevin Alvarez Major in Business and Economics I was fortunate enough to have been offered the position of a Claims representative intern at Sentry for this summer. The last few weeks were focused on getting my Adjusters License which I was fortunate enough to pass on my first try. I am now shadowing current claims representatives as we begin our training. Claims representatives process insurance claims, determine coverage, and investigate claims by contacting the claimants. Jose Martinez Major in Business Administration with a Minor in Accounting Currently, I am in the process of familiarizing myself with our software. As I continue to develop my expertise, I look forward to supporting our customers by addressing and resolving any issues or problems they encounter. My goal is to ensure a seamless and positive experience for every user.
