UW Bothell’s new Electrical Engineering Capstone Lab is transforming student learning thanks to a $100,000 gift from EE lecturer Joe Decuir. His donation equipped the lab with industry-standard tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters and wave generators. Now, students have the hands-on tools they need to tackle real-world projects — from electrifying wakeboard boats to testing wireless toothbrush technology. Joe’s contribution isn’t just about equipment — it’s about empowering students to collaborate, innovate and build the future of engineering. His legacy of mentorship and giving will impact generations to come. ?? Read the full story on the UW Bothell blog:?https://lnkd.in/g3BaypVj “Thanks to his generous gift to the EE capstone lab, students can gain invaluable hands-on experience, which will equip them with the skills needed to create impactful capstone projects and excel in the workforce.” - Dr. Jennifer Mcloud-Mann, dean of the School of STEM #UWBothell #UWBSTEM #EngineeringEducation #EECapstoneLab
