Was established in July 1994 as part of the Federal Technology Project with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (HMEP) as its statutory funding source ? Formed as a partnership between the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UW-Stout) and five technical colleges—Chippewa Valley, Nicolet Area, Northcentral, Western, and Wisconsin Indianhead ? Is headquartered at UW-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin and is one of numerous specialized outreach Centers within the Stout Technology Transfer Institute (STTI) housed under the UW-Stout Discovery Center Our Mission Engage manufacturers in executing strategies for greater profitability and long-term growth.
