On Oct. 1 and 2 the UVM Patrick Leahy Honors College will present its inaugural forum, "Looking Back: 50 Years of U.S. Involvement in Vietnam." The event will examine the Vietnam War Experience and feature Pulitzer Prize-winning author, U.S. veterans, activists, the Vietnamese ambassador to the U.S., and Senator Leahy. I'm so proud to have been a part of this class, promoting critical thinking, constructive dialogue, and healthy debate with some extraordinary student leaders like Remi Savard, Elisabeth Roadcap, and Nicole Eaton. I'm also grateful for the partnership of Suresh Garimella, whose commitment to civil discourse and collaborative exploration is inspiring the next generation. A note of thanks also goes out to our many special guests including UVM Patrick Leahy Honors College's namesake, Senator Patrick Leahy who joined our class this year.
