关于我们
With the support of the Upper Valley community, the Haven assists those who are experiencing poverty to be free from hunger, to be securely housed, and to pursue a self-directed life. Founded in 1980, the Haven provides food, temporary shelter, supportive housing, children’s after school and summer programs, community outreach, and problem solving support to those in need. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. We now serve over 14,500 people per year.

Just read Dartmouth alum Ben Gose's article in the The Chronicle of Philanthropy about how we can better connect with donors of all sizes. Because the Haven never charges for any service, we count on the generous #UpperValley donors to support the myriad programs we offer. Thanks Ben!

Before the week is over, we want to give a big thank you to all of our incredible Haven volunteers! April 15th marked the conclusion of the inaugural season of the Lebanon Seasonal Shelter. Safely accommodating 53 individuals during the coldest months of the winter underscored the pressing need for more affordable housing and shelter options. We're grateful for the opportunity extended by the City of Lebanon to manage this shelter, offering a safe haven, community service, social support, and nourishment to all. With enthusiasm, we look forward to another season of serving the community next winter. Read more about the first three months of operation here: https://lnkd.in/d4jUhKwa
