关于我们
UVeye is a computer vision tech company that develops automated inspection systems for vehicles, powered by artificial intelligence and proprietary hardware. Founded in 2016 by Amir and Ohad Hever, our systems have been installed at 100+ sites, including vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, fleet companies, logistical centers, energy, financial, diplomatic, and other sensitive security facilities. In 2019, Toyota Tsusho and Volvo headlined a $31M Series B, joining W.R. Berkley and F.I.T Ventures. In 2021, UVeye secured its Series C round from strategic investors like CarMax and Hyundai Motors, bringing UVeye to a grand total of over $90M in investment capital. As of March 2022, Volvo announced an expansion to their partnership with a long-term program aiming to install UVeye devices in all of its North American dealerships. Each day we are making an impact with technology by harnessing the power of AI to detect vehicle issues or security-related threats in the undercarriage before they cause fatalities. Our mission, every day, is to raise the standard of vehicle inspections to help create better mobility and safer roads.

?? Let’s Talk About Water Damage There’s nothing worse than having to inform a customer that their vehicle has sustained water damage requiring thousands of dollars in repairs. What makes it even harder is knowing that, in many cases, these costly repairs could have been avoided with a simple, proactive inspection. A common example we encounter involves sunroof gaskets. One manufacturer, in particular, frequently sees issues with shrinking sunroof gaskets over time. As seen in the picture below, this 2019 model has significant gaps in the gasket caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight and rubber shrinkage. The fix? Replacing the gasket—an affordable repair costing just a few hundred dollars. However, if left unchecked, these gaps allow dirt and debris to clog the sunroof’s drainage tracks. When those tracks become blocked, water backs up, leaking down the vehicle’s pillars and pooling under the seats, potentially leading to thousands of dollars in electronic and interior damage. Our dealerships love utilizing the UVeye system to identify these issues during routine inspections. The system quickly captures detailed images of the roof of the vehicle, allowing service advisors to spot gasket gaps during the check-in process—no need for a technician to manually climb up and inspect the seals. This not only improves efficiency but also provides customers with clear, visual evidence of the problem and the opportunity to address it before it becomes a costly disaster. This is just one of many examples of how technology like UVeye enhances both customer service and preventative maintenance. #AutomotiveInnovation #WaterDamagePrevention #CustomerCare #UVeye #ServiceEfficiency UVeye

?? Let’s Talk Safety ?? During a recent visit to one of my amazing Toyota partners, I had an eye-opening experience that highlighted the importance of diligence of checking our UVeye scans and attention to detail in their service process. While reviewing system utilization with the service manager, we conducted a spot-check to ensure that significant damages and safety concerns detected by our inspection systems were properly documented and communicated to customers. Here's what we found: A brand-new 2025 Camry, with only 5,000 miles, had been serviced the day before for its first routine maintenance. However, our UVeye scans we uncovered serious safety issues: -Two passenger-side tires had chunks missing from their sidewalls. While not massive, they were significant enough to warrant attention. -The left rear tire had a large nail in the outer tread blocks — a puncture location that would make plugging the tire unsafe. Shockingly, none of these issues were documented on the repair order (RO), communicated to the customer, or accompanied by a tire replacement quote. The only items on the RO were a 5,000-mile oil change and a courtesy inspection marked as "completed." So, what went wrong? Likely, assumptions: -The service writer may not have reviewed the inspection scans, assuming no issues because the car was “brand new.” -The quick lube technician likely rushed the process, focusing only on the oil change and skipping a thorough checkup due to the low mileage. This is a major safety concern — not just for the customer but for the store’s reputation and responsibility. It’s a reminder that even brand-new vehicles can have serious issues, and it’s why our UVeye tool was developed for dealers, to catch and communicate these issues to dealers to protect their customers. After making this shocking discovery and realizing it had slipped through the cracks of the service department, the manager and I took immediate action. We went into the service drive and ensured all of the key service technicians received their own logins and access to our UVeye system. With this access, technicians can now review scans before pulling a vehicle in, helping them spot and document any detected damages on the RO moving forward. This is yet another prime example of why the mantra "every scan, every customer, every time" is so critical. It’s the best method to ensure that not only are our roads and customers safe, but that our service advisors are properly ADVISING customers on the condition of their vehicles. ?? Key takeaway: Dealers' employee's only as good as the processes and tools they are using. Have UVeye remain vigilant, help find the holes in your service drive with our automated inspections, and prioritize customer safety above all else. What steps is your team taking to ensure safety checks don’t get overlooked? Let’s share best practices in the comments! #Automotive #CustomerSafety #ProcessImprovement #Leadership

Let’s Talk Tires! ?? As winter approaches, dealerships in the Northeast are focusing more on the importance of tire safety. Tires don’t just need replacing due to wear—time plays a significant role in their longevity. Aged tires can significantly impact safety: -Reduced performance in rain and snow. -Longer stopping distances. -Increased risk of losing control on turns. This happens because tire rubber degrades, dries, and cracks over time. Here’s a real-world example from one of our UVeye-partnered Porsche stores: A customer experienced a complete tire blowout while driving. Thankfully, they managed to get the car to the dealership. Using UVeye scans, the service team discovered that the other three tires were over 10 years old and showed severe dry rot and cracking. What’s notable is how the store handled this situation: Before UVeye: The team last year before UVeye was installed in their service lane, they had recommended replacing the tires based on their condition but lacked a way to visually demonstrate the severity to the customer. With UVeye: The advanced scans allowed the team to show the customer clear, detailed evidence of the tire’s condition. This visual approach helped the customer understand the urgency and prioritize their safety. As the seasonal conditions become more challenging, tools like UVeye enable dealerships to educate customers effectively, ensuring safer roads for everyone. How does your dealership communicate and document the age of tires for customers? Are you proactively recommending tire replacement at 5 or 6 years, as advised by most OEMs? Let us show you how UVeye can enhance your process and help keep your customers safer on the road! #TireSafety #CustomerExperience #DealershipInnovation #UVeye #WinterDriving
