Prof. James H. Lambert received the 2024 SRA Distinguished Educator Award last month at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Risk Analysis (www.sra) in Austin, TX, USA. The Society for Risk Analysis has two thousand members across forty countries, with expertise across topics of engineering, policy, communications, health, environment etc. Prof. Lambert served as worldwide President of the SRA in 2015-16 and was the Chair of the 5th World Congress on Risk in Cape Town, South Africa in 2019. He currently serves on the Governance Committee of the SRA. The Sixth World Congress on Risk will convene in Marrakesh, Morocco in April 2025 (https://lnkd.in/gsqZ5AnC).
