Join us for our annual service honoring the Hindu tradition and the Festival of the Universal Dance of Shiva: Maha Shivaratri. The Rev. Jeremiah Lal Shahbaz Kalendae, preaching; Rebecca Haggerty, worship associate. Hinduism is the oldest of the great religions of the world and it is one of the most inclusive as it embraces monotheistic, polytheistic, and atheistic conceptions of existence. We will consider the sacred literature, traditions, and practices that inform and support such a broad and embracing mosaic of spiritual life. Music: Rohan Ramanan, guest musician; Ryan Humphrey, pianist. Time for All Ages: Jessica will lead the kids in an improvised dance that tells the story of the birth and growth of our universe. Our monthly Generous Congregation Contribution represents 50% of our non-pledge Sunday offerings. In January, our offering supported Westside Food Bank and our February offering will support CLUE.
