Cultivating Pathways Together

关于我们

We are the United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance - Washington (UTOPIA). We are actively replacing systems of oppression with ecosystems of care and safety for all our communities through Black and Brown organizing, prioritizing land and bodily autonomy, and reclaiming our cultural narratives. Our vision is a world of abundance, autonomy, and harmony, where all forms of supremacy cease to exist for all life.

  • Part 2 of 2 Reclaiming Our Humanity: A Call to Truth, Justice, and Liberation Trans lives are not up for debate. We are not talking points. We are not distractions. We are not bargaining chips in a broken political system. We are human. We are artists, parents, healers, builders, and leaders. We deserve safety, dignity, and joy—not someday, but right now. Both major parties have failed us. They’ve weaponized our existence for headlines, for clout, for fear-based fundraising. But we will not be silent. This is not about politics—it’s about human rights. Trans liberation is not partisan. It is urgent and non-negotiable. We are reclaiming the narrative. No more letting misinformation define us. No more fear-mongering. Through our voices, our stories, our art, and our relentless presence—we will shatter the lies. We will show the world who we are: powerful, multifaceted, resilient. Especially for Black trans and gender-expansive folks, the weight of injustice has always been heaviest—yet we have always been at the frontlines. That legacy of leadership, love, and defiance is the backbone of our movement. And we know this truth: no one is free until we all are free. We are not here for crumbs of inclusion. We are not asking for tolerance. We are demanding liberation. Justice. Autonomy. A future where trans people can live fully, love openly, and thrive unapologetically. This movement will not be stopped. Because our existence is not a debate. It’s a declaration. We are here, and we are rising up against the false narratives that the media is telling of our intersectional community. #TDOV #ReclaimOurNarrative #TransRightsAreHumanRights #TransLiberationNow #ProtectTransLives #TransJustice #QueerResistance #TransIsBeautiful #TransPower

  • UTOPIA Washington is deeply honored to have welcomed Brianna Fruean, a proud Samoan climate activist and global voice for environmental justice, to our space today. ? Her US tour and presence is more than a visit amongst community, it’s a reminder of the strength, wisdom, and resilience carried by our Pacific Islander communities. Brianna’s advocacy uplifts our island homes and brings urgent attention to the global impacts of climate change on our ancestral lands. ? Today, she gifted our community not only with her powerful voice but with her joy, a joy rooted in resistance, culture, and deep love for our people. ? Fa’afetai tele lava, Brianna, for walking alongside us in this movement for climate justice. Your leadership reminds us that we are not alone, and that through connection, we build a future where our islands thrive.
