Researchers at The University of Toledo are working to uncover new insights into the origins and progression of Alzheimer’s disease by challenging previous assumptions and taking a fresh approach to studying the disease. https://myut.link/7jo A new $3.7 million federally funded study, led by Dr. Robert Smith, professor and chair of the Department of Neurosciences and Psychiatry, aims to reveal key details about how Alzheimer’s begins and evolves.

No one marches alone. ROTC members from Toledo and Bowling Green rucked Saturday’s game ball 22.5 miles between the two campuses to raise awareness about military suicide. The ruck emphasized the number 22, representing the estimated daily number of veterans who die by suicide.
