Our Pre-Apprenticeship class had an amazing visit with the Local 69 Insulators team! Together, they got the chance to work on a real-world project, using industry materials to create 45° and 90° fittings designed to protect pipes from the elements. It was a hands-on experience that gave our participants valuable skills and insights into the trade. Huge thanks to Local 69 Insulators for the warm welcome and mentorship! Exciting Day at the Utah Career Center! Our pre-apprenticeship class had an incredible hands-on experience with Utah Career Center! During our visit we dived straight into the world of plumbing. The students got their hands dirty learning to solder copper pipes—talk about skill-building! They also tackled an awesome plumbing project using PVC, where they measured, cut, and assembled everything to match isometric drawings. Huge shoutout to the experts at Utah Career Center for the valuable training and for showing our future pros the ropes!
