Our flagship program is the International Visitor Leadership Program administered by the U.S. Department of State. In addition, Utah Global Diplomacy is the Utah chapter of the World Affairs Councils of America. Please visit our website at www.utahglobaldiplomacy.org.

Ashtar Al-zoubi, a participant in our U.S.-Jordan Leadership Exchange Program (UJLEP), brought a delicious slice of her culture to 1 Million Cups in Orem by preparing an incredible spread of Jordanian food for attendees. Her culinary talent didn’t just fill the room with flavor—it sparked conversations, built connections, and made the event even more memorable. ???? Thanks to programs like UJLEP, an IREX program which empowers innovative Jordanian leaders through, and community spaces like 1 Million Cups Provo, which fosters entrepreneurship and collaboration, we’re building the bridges that strengthen ties between the United States and Jordan. These moments—sharing meals, ideas, and stories—are the heart of our mission to create relationships that inspire global growth and understanding. Thank you, Ashtar, and our amazing partners at UJLEP and 1 Million Cups, for being part of this journey toward a more connected world. ???? #GlobalConnections #UJLEP #1MillionCups #LeadershipInAction #UtahGlobalDiplomacy #CitizenDiplomacy #FoodDiplomacy #InternationalExchange

A heartfelt thank-you to every organization that generously welcomed our participants during this inspiring program on NGOs and Volunteerism! From hands-on activities at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bishops Storehouse to engaging discussions at Spy Hop Productions and meaningful connections through Youthlinc , each visit offered unique insights that exceeded expectations. This program wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible work of International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and FHI 360, who coordinated and supported this journey of discovery and exchange. Participants shared how deeply these experiences impacted them, with one saying, “This was 100—no, 1,000 times beyond what I imagined!” Through these exchanges, our participants are taking home not only knowledge but also the inspiration to create meaningful change in their fields—whether as educators, community leaders, healthcare professionals, or policymakers. To all our hosts and collaborators: thank you for creating a space where ideas flourish, connections are made, and global understanding grows. Your generosity and expertise have left an indelible mark. ???? #UtahGlobalDiplomacy #IVLP #CulturalExchange #Collaboration #GlobalLeadership #ThankYou

I had the best time tonight reconnecting with my Model United Nations roots in Utah Global Diplomacy's diplomacy simulation. We discussed water rights, protecting endangered species, sustainable development, and alternative energy. I dug into some academic articles for research, and I loved seeing how much scientific and policy research has been dedicated to protecting our future world! Only a week left of our Citizen Diplomacy certification class, and I don't want it to be over!
