Election workers are your neighbors, friends, and family. They go to church with you, and coach your kids' sports teams. They're average citizens who go above and beyond to protect your constitutional rights. As we wait for polls to close, ballots to be counted, processes to be audited, and results to be certified, please be patient—and know that you elected the best of Utah to do the job. HAPPY 100TH ANNIVERSARY, UAC! Jan. 24, 2024 marked the 100th Anniversary of the Utah Association of Counties-- to the day. The first meeting of UAC (initially called the "Conference of County Auditors, Clerks, and Treasurers") was held in the Utah State Capitol in the House of Representatives on Jan. 24, 1924. The organization was created for county leaders to have a place to develop and learn standards with colleagues from across the state. Today, our organization still emphasizes the importance of association and collaboration. County leaders are faced with some of the state's most complex challenges. Our county leaders are inclusive, welcoming, and embrace different perspectives in pursuit of the best results for Utah Citizens. We couldn't be prouder of our first 100 years. Here's to the next 100! THANK YOU to the Utah Senate and Utah House of Representatives for passing a resolution honoring everything great about UAC for our birthday ?? (we can't wait to watch Gov.
