Recently, we came together with Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) to advocate for retaining the right tools to build in Utah. Our president, Kaden Figgins, along Scott Cuthbertson, co-authored?an opinion piece?in the?Deseret News, urging Congress to protect the tax-exempt status of municipal bonds, which is?currently at risk?as part of ongoing federal tax reforms. Eliminating or limiting this critical economic development tool would slow Utah's economic growth and harm its quality of life. We encourage our members to contact Utah's Federal Delegation and promote the preservation of this essential tool.
