This past week, Moriba Jah was invited to the University of Minnesota Morris (UMM) as the Elizabeth S. Blake Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Liberal Arts (DVPLA). During his visit, Jah delivered the powerful keynote lecture, "A Case for Space Environmentalism,” to a packed auditorium, followed by a panel with Thomas González Roberts, where they discussed celestial stewardship, space environmentalism, sustainability and social justice. Jah also had the opportunity to visit several classes where he engaged in discussions with students on sustainability and social justice. We’re so proud to call professor Jah a #TexasEngineer in the department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, The University of Texas at Austin, and continue to be inspired by his passionate and thought-provoking solutions to ensure that space is safe and secure for everyone! ??
