  • Congratulations to Hillary Oliver and Julie George on their recent grant award of $874,617! ?? The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Academic and Health Affairs Division announced UT Tyler School of Nursing as 1 of the 7 grant recipients for the Nursing Innovation Grant Program! This program was established to fund grant projects that support innovation in nursing education programs. Funding will be used to support the development of innovative projects in nursing education for pre-licensure programs. Hillary Oliver shares, “Being awarded the Nursing Innovation Grant allows us to develop our own faculty training ToolKit for simulation-based education, ensuring a standardized, high-quality approach. This grant also funds CloudCME software, making the training accessible to other programs looking to enhance their own faculty development in simulation. We’re thrilled about this opportunity—especially since we turned the grant around in just one week! We can’t wait to see the final product come to life.”
