Today we're cozying up with some new reads, including our newest series of research briefs! ?? https://lnkd.in/e_bfY3di Issue 3 clarifies the relationship between advising and participation in HIPs, interrogating and amplifying the equity potential embedded in this relationship, including how advising creates pathways for meaningful and equitable engagement in HIPs. Issue 4 synthesizes the findings across the first three studies, yielding new conclusions and implications for current practices in advising, revealing areas in which more research is needed in order to advance the line of inquiry around advising and HIPs, and charting the next steps in higher education scholarship and practice too. In Spring 2024, USU hosted the Accelerate Pitch Competition, which garnered innovative solutions to create and scale success initiatives for undergraduate adult learners studying at urban-serving universities. Over the next several months, this blog series will periodically feature updates from the pitch competition finalists to share their programs and ideas for supporting adult learners. Today, we're kicking it off with a spotlight on Wayne State University.
