USUBC hosted an in-person Roundtable in New York on Doing Business in the United States with the visiting Business Mission of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), the largest Ukrainian business association Held at Deloitte's New York offices, the event explored strategies for Ukrainian businesses to navigate and succeed in the U.S. market. The Business Mission, led by?Chyzhykov Gennadiy,?UCCI?President, included leading Ukrainian companies such as?MHP,?Epicenter (Еп?центр К ),?Ministry of Doors,?West Berry Ltd?and others, representing?such sectors as?agriculture, food processing, retail, IT, and more. The?Roundtable began with opening remarks by?Irina Paliashvili,?USUBC Acting President & CEO, and featured contributions from?Whitney Baird?(United States Council for International Business (USCIB),?Oksana Shulyar?(Deloitte), and?Luisa Scarcella?(International Chamber of Commerce). ? The agenda focused on practical aspects of doing business?and finding partners?in the?United States, including financing and insurance (presented by Alexander Gordin, EQB?, Rebuilding Ukraine Agency), communications strategy (Sonya Soutus, APCO WORLDWIDE, INC.), and policy advocacy (Declan Daly and Norine Kennedy, United States Council for International Business (USCIB). The event concluded with a Q&A session and networking, fostering valuable connections between U.S. and Ukrainian business leaders. ? USUBC and PwC, a valued USUBC member, co-hosted a Business Breakfast as a side event during the 4th International Exhibition & Conference: ReBuild Ukraine - Construction & Energy in Warsaw, Poland The event brought together USUBC members, PwC clients, and key representatives from Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. Discussions focused on strategic plans and priorities for 2025, investment opportunities in infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships, and pathways for international businesses to contribute to Ukraine's reconstruction efforts. The event featured insights from Deputy Minister?Maryna Denysiuk?and State Agency Head?Serhiy Sukhomlyn?and was co-moderated by?Lev Holubec?of PwC and?Greg Fishman JD?of USUBC.
