Meet our Teams??: GoldenLink Health Jacquelyn (Jacquie) Golden is a second-year MD/MBA student with a passion for surgery and women's health. She earned a BA in Health and Societies with a focus on public health from the University of Pennsylvania. Before medical school, she worked with healthcare startups in Tel Aviv, aiming to foster technological transformation in healthcare systems. Her experiences and clinical interests drive her commitment to advancing women's healthcare through innovation and technology. Ami Dave, MPH is a current first-year MD/MBA student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in public health with a concentration in global health studies, and her Master of Public Health concentrating in Health Policy and Organization. She is interested in the health of women and children, working with organizations such as the Nashuli Conservancy in Kenya, Period Pros in Miami, and the 1917 Clinic to create a change in her community. Sherri Afshani is a first-year MD/MPH candidate at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She earned her B.S. in Public Health from George Washington University and later completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at the University of Virginia. A former healthcare consultant and senior research analyst, she has expertise in digital health, AI applications, and healthcare consumerism. Her clinical interests focus on integrating digital health and radiologic advancements to improve women's health and breast cancer outcomes, especially for high-risk and underserved populations.

As a medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Yasmine has a deep passion for dermatology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare accessibility. Her interest in dermatology extends beyond clinical practice—she is committed to leveraging technology to bridge gaps in skin cancer detection and care. Through SkinSmart, she aims to revolutionize dermatologic diagnostics by integrating AI-driven tools that empower both patients and clinicians. By combining her medical education with cutting-edge technology, she is dedicated to making dermatologic care more accessible, efficient, and inclusive for diverse populations. Eric Sokhn Eric is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SkinSmart. A medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Eric is driven by a mission to harness technology for smarter, more equitable patient care. His role at SkinSmart centers on refining AI-driven diagnostic tools to enhance precision, accessibility, and clinical utility. With an interest in oncology and health disparities, he brings a patient-first perspective to innovation, ensuring that emerging technologies are both practical and inclusive. Overall, he envisions a future where early skin cancer detection is seamless, proactive, and universally accessible.

Meet our Teams ??: ChargeBay USA With a combined 5+ years experience in the energy, proptech, and EV space, Ansh Bhatt and Manan Ahuja have spent time honing the product to solve the pain points from the side of the supplier, user, and host. With strategic partnerships in the CSMS, charger manufacturer, installer, and the property management spaces, Manan and Ansh have spent time ensuring that all stakeholders buy-in to the ultimate vision of ChargeBay USA: to have chargers at all destinations, so charging goes from a hassle to an expectations. Through our strategic partnerships and research, ChargeBay USA has gained data and experience from 1500+ stations in Europe and Asia, 600+ customers, 7+ hosts, and 67+ charger manufacturers, ensures that our solution is well vetted, and poised to revolutionize EV charging. Manan Ahuja - Head of Product With 4+ years of software consulting experience and a B.S. in Computer Science from USF, Manan Ahuja has been crucial?for the technical and product development of ChargeBay. As head of product, he has been crucial in making the product what it is today. With expertise from firms such as Mphasis and Ozark Labs, Manan has handled the complex problems from before development to after launch. Ansh Bhatt - Head of Operations Ansh has 4 years of B2B implementation experience in the healthcare sector. As and MD/MBA student, Ansh acts as the 'face of ChargeBay' at events and pitches, in order to spread the message that EV charging can be accessible and affordable. Over the span of the development of ChargeBay, Ansh and Manan have had the privilege?of speaking to 1000s of end users, utility/EV industry leaders, and property?stakeholders that have honed the product to its current iteration.

Her passion for bridging health and business drives Matcha Scrubs’ mission to support those on the front lines with stylish, practical, and high-performance apparel. Jacob Eisner, MPH Jacob Eisner is a distinguished professional with a robust academic background and diverse experience in healthcare and business. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Health, and Society from Cornell University. Jacob furthered his education at Yale University, obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Healthcare Management. Currently, he is pursuing both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Miami. Meet our Teams??: Litreal My name is Laura Castro Ramirez, I moved to Miami during the summer of 2023 to pursue a Masters Degree at the University of Miami School of Communication, where I am currently enrolled in their Interactive Media MFA Program. I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia and attended Northeastern University in Boston where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in international relations with a government track from their College of Social Sciences & Humanities as well as a Paralegal Studies degree. I really enjoy living a holistic lifestyle, experimenting with new technology, and books. From a young age, books have been a constant presence in my life, beginning with the bedtime stories my mother read to me each night. This ritual fostered not only a deep love for literature but also an appreciation for the connections that stories create. While reading is often seen as a solitary activity, it has an unparalleled ability to bring people together through discussion and shared interpretation. Books open dialogues, spark intellectual engagement, and cultivate empathy by allowing readers to experience the world through different perspectives. As someone who values both connection and innovation, I see storytelling as a bridge—one that not only enriches individual lives but also fosters deeper community engagement, a principle that continues to shape my approach to design and technology. Building on this belief in the power of storytelling and connection, I founded Litreal, a VR platform designed to transform the way readers engage with books and each other. Just as literature fosters dialogue and empathy, virtual reality enhances these connections by creating a sense of presence—allowing users to feel as if they are sharing the same space, even when miles apart. Our mission is to reshape the physical therapy landscape by developing a fully mechanized system of Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) to treat musculoskeletal injuries. They are excited to be a part of the second cohort of USTAAR and are actively working to achieve success. Amira Mansuri Hi! My name is Amira Mansuri, and I am a senior in Biomedical Engineering and Global Health Studies on the Pre-Medical track from Miramar, Florida. Through my classes, research, clinical, and volunteer experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for the intersection of technology, accessibility, and patient care. I am passionate about integrating technology into healthcare for more equitable care. Beyond my academic and entrepreneurship ventures, I enjoy various artistic hobbies (I am currently in a glass blowing class!) and love to try new foods. ? Chloe Soriano Chloe Soriano is a senior in the 5-Year BS/MS Biomedical Engineering program at the University of Miami, with a minor in dance. As a Filipino-American and the first-born child in her family to be raised in the U.S., she thrives in organization, communication, and leadership while balancing her rigorous academic schedule with on-campus employment and research positions. Beyond her academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, Chloe is passionate about hip-hop dance. She actively embraces her identity as an Asian American within the hip-hop dance community and enjoys integrating her love for dance into her everyday life. ?
