U.S. Space Forces Indo Pacific marks 2 years of accomplishment. ? Over the past two years, the first U.S. space service component has tripled in size, established a 24/7 space watch cell, executed three Tier 1 Combatant Command exercises, signed the service’s first component support plan, and has been pivotal in expediting the fielding of space capabilities in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Area of Responsibility. ? "We're growing the component to keep pace with the rapidly increasing security threat,” said Brig. Gen. Anthony Mastalir, U.S. Space Forces Indo-Pacific commander. “Joint Force planners know that if you want to put together a synchronized, all-domain operational plan, you'd be well-advised to have a Guardian on the team." https://lnkd.in/gRRjv9cj

Building relationships with likeminded #AlliesAndPartners is foundational to our asymmetric advantage, and sharing timely information through efforts like the JCO is vital to ensuring the security, stability, and sustainability of the space domain.
Earlier this week, the Joint Commercial Operations cell hosted members of the Romanian Space Command to familiarize them with the JCO mission. The JCO provides the space defense enterprise with timely collection, analysis, and warning of potential counterspace activity, leveraging commercial data at the NOT CLASSIFIED level to enable maximum distribution and collaboration in support of operational and strategic objectives.

Innovation fuels success at Space Systems Command's annual Fight Tonight competition This year’s winners exemplified cutting-edge innovation: The winning proposal, sponsored by Space Base Delta 2, called Countering Space-Domain Camouflage, Concealment and Detection, the concept involves the fusion of multi-source Space Domain Awareness data and improves detection of hidden threats to space systems. Second place, sponsored by the Assured Access to Space program executive office, called LEAPS, the concept involves streamlining space launch operations with secure, end-to-end data integration. Third place, sponsored by the Joint Commercial Operations (JCO) Cell, called PRIMER, the concept involves an automated tool for narrowing operational queries, boosting efficiency in real-time situational awareness. Fight Tonight showcases SSC’s commitment to empowering creative solutions, protecting the space domain. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gr-thn3z
