Space Delta 13’s Detachment 2 and the U.S. Air Force’s Holm Center have partnered to enhance space education across ROTC, Officer Training School, and Air Force and Space Force Junior ROTC programs. Over the past year, they’ve developed space-centric lessons, hosted virtual Space Force summits, and updated training to immerse cadets in Space Force culture and the Guardian Ideal. A huge thank you to Dr. Courtney Barber for speaking at our STARCOM Commanders Conference this week! STARCOM is excited to kick off the U.S. Space Force's first Officer Training Course on Sept. 3 at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs! Join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest Space Delta 10 commander, Col. Shannon DaSilva! Today, Col. DaSilva assumed command of Space Delta 10 from Col. Jack D. Fulmer II during a change of command ceremony at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. In her inaugural address as commander, DaSilva expressed enthusiasm for the new role and the future of Delta 10. "It is an absolute honor to follow the inaugural commander, Col Fulmer, as the next leader of Space Delta 10," said DaSilva.
