Why U.S. Soy is the Gold Standard for Sustainability Not all soy is created equal, and U.S. soy stands out as a global leader in sustainability, quality, and reliability. Here’s why: 1. Verified Sustainability: U.S. Soy farmers adhere to some of the most stringent environmental and agricultural standards in the world. Through the U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP), they ensure soy is grown with minimal impact on the environment. 2. Sustainable production practices: U.S. soybeans dry down naturally in the field prior to harvest avoiding energy intensive industrial drying methods employed in other geographies. Innovations in U.S. soybean farming, such as variable rate fertilizer application and cover-cropping, result in resource-use efficiencies along the soy supply chain. 3. Low Carbon Footprint: Compared to soy of other origin, U.S. Soy has a lower carbon footprint, primarily due to its lack of land use change risk. This makes it an ideal choice for aquaculture operations striving to minimize their environmental impact. By choosing U.S. Soy, aquafeed producers and aquaculture operations worldwide can reduce their carbon footprint, support food security, and fuel the future of sustainable seafood production. https://loom.ly/D_wiwo8 #USSoy

Did you know that sustainable aquaculture plays a crucial role in protecting our water resources? ?? One key ingredient making aquafeed more ocean-friendly is U.S. Soy—and here’s why it matters for water conservation: ?? A Nutritional Powerhouse – U.S. Soy provides a high-quality, plant-based protein source that supports efficient seafood production while reducing environmental impact. ?? A Sustainable Alternative – By replacing fishmeal with soy, aquafeed helps reduce pressure on wild fish stocks, protecting marine ecosystems and preserving natural fish populations. ?? Versatile & Scalable – Soy-based feeds contribute to a more water-efficient food system, supporting responsible aquaculture and ensuring a sustainable future for seafood. As we recognize World Water Day, let’s celebrate innovations that help sustain our oceans and freshwater ecosystems for generations to come! ???? U.S. Soy continues to accelerate its commitment to sustainability in response to global demand, which helps attain market access, differentiate the quality and value of U.S. Soy, and elevate a preference for U.S. Soy products worldwide. The U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol (SSAP) is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis to continue moving U.S. Soy forward worldwide. Guided by the framework of the SSAP, this past year’s results speak for themselves: ??SSAP-verified U.S. Soy shipments grew to 71% - the highest ever share of total soy exports ??Sustainable U.S. Soy consumer packaging labels used on over 1,125 products globally ??Carbon footprint data now available on SSAP-verified U.S. Soy shipments ?? New sustainability goals related to reduced land use impact, soil erosion, energy use and greenhouse gas emissions The SSAP assures U.S. Soy’s international customers that they can trust the integrity of U.S. Soy while also verifying their purchase as being sustainable. Learn more about how the sustainable advantages of U.S. Soy create value for everyone along the soy value chain in this year’s SSAP annual report. https://loom.ly/jcbFXzQ) #USSoy
