Today We have finished Course no 65 ( broiler breeder management ) Which is organized by the collaboration between U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) – Europe and Middle East-North Africa (EU-MENA) and Faculty of Agriculture Cairo University. We discussed a lot of topics about the new trends in poultry industry and i believe it will help us a lot. Many thanks to Mr.Mousa Wakileh for the efforts that contribute in evolving poultry industry and I have met Mr. Wakileh in person before and really he is very active and give me a lot of energy.

I had the honor of being invited to attend the 5th anniversary celebration of Soy Excellence Center in Cairo where I had the opportunity to share a few thoughts on their outstanding training programs with an inspiring group of professionals. I was also thrilled to meet Ms. Emeli, an inspiring woman, and attend her talk on the future of soy. Her insights were truly valuable A big congratulations to the entire team and Tori S. ,Mousa Wakileh ,Christiane Aoun for their remarkable work over the past five years, and thank you for your continued dedication to excellence. It was my privilege to be in Cairo, Egypt this week celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Soy Excellence Center (SEC) serving the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. U.S. Soy has been collaborating with the MENA region, the 7th?largest U.S. soybean export market, since 1998. Five years ago, with the support of?USDA FAS, USSEC recognized the opportunity to do even more and launched the first global Soy Excellence Center committed to MENA. It’s amazing to see the progress made in this short amount of time, with the SEC reaching more than 22,000 trainees through 150 training programs. ? These accomplishments couldn’t have been achieved without SEC MENA’s regional partners, including the Egyptian Poultry Association,?Cairo University?and?WorldFish,?as well as the hard work of the SEC MENA team, including?Mousa Wakileh,?Christiane Aoun,?and?Tori S. - Chair of the SEC Global Advisory Panel. ? Today, thanks in part to SEC MENA, U.S. Soy is gaining trust with farmers and businesses throughout MENA as they understand the value that sustainable U.S. Soy can bring to their operations and how it can support regional nutrition security. It’s been a rewarding period of growth in the region and I, for one, am bullish for another five years of continued growth and trade opportunities! #nutritionsecurity

It was an honor to be a part of the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) five-year anniversary celebration of its Soy Excellence Center in Egypt. Over 22,000 trainees from across the Middle East and North Africa have benefitted from the 150 training programs conducted to date — programs which have helped bolster animal nutrition across the MENA region’s poultry, dairy, and aquaculture sectors! A huge THANK YOU to the China International Import Expo and our USSEC China team for the opportunity to moderate what was an amazing panel on the future of U.S. and China ag trade opportunities. I especially want to acknowledge my wonderful panelists who represented the Almond Board of California, American Pistachio Growers, American Seed Trade Association, COTTON USA?, USA Poultry & Egg Export Council, U.S. Dairy Export Council, U.S. Grains Council, US Rice Producers Association, U.S. Wheat Associates, United Soybean Board, American Soybean Association, and the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). This week's session was a productive and encouraging conversation on the huge future potential of U.S. and China agricultural trade, especially for U.S. Soy, as China is the largest consumer and importer of soybeans in the world. Thanks and appreciation to Steve Reinhard, United Soybean Board Chair, Janna Fritz, U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Vice Chair, and Ronnie Russel, American Soybean Association Executive Committee, for taking time to participate in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) this week in Shanghai.?It was an important event and USSEC was proud to be part of it for the 7th consecutive year. CIIE is an excellent opportunity to network with our key contacts in China and reinforce our appreciation for our long standing relationship and business. USSEC recently exhibited at the SIAL International Food Exhibition in Paris, France. The annual event attracted exhibitors and visitors from over 200 countries and incorporated food sectors such as organic products, dairy, poultry and seafood. The international food show was the hub of food innovation, bringing together producers, distributors, restaurateurs and importers-exporters. Grower Leaders Jeff Magyar and Brad Macauley, along with USSEC staff members Brent Babb, Katie Reardon and Lola Herrera attended to network with current and potential international customers to highlight the U.S. Soy advantage, specifically as it pertains to sustainability and soy in human health. This year, SIAL featured 11 halls representing 10 food sectors, showcasing more than 400,000 products and innovations (including soy!) from over 7,500 exhibitors.
