??? Relevate Power Receives $4.9M to Boost Hydropower Efficiency ??? Relevate Power, a leader in redeveloping run-of-river hydropower assets, has been awarded a $4.9 million grant from the Department of Energy to enhance hydroelectric facility efficiency. This funding, made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will enable Relevate Power to increase energy generation, improve grid resilience, and advance sustainability efforts. ???? The DOE grants fall under two sections of the Energy Policy Act: o Section 247: $2.9M to enhance hydro facilities, grid resilience, and dam features. o Section 243: $2.0M to improve operational efficiency, targeting a minimum 3% increase in energy generation. These projects aim to modernize U.S. hydroelectric infrastructure while supporting environmental protections, with completion expected within two years. Ian Finlay, CFO of Relevate Power, stated, “These grants underscore the DOE’s recognition of the critical role that hydro projects play in building a greener grid and will be transformative in advancing projects that closely align with Relevate Power’s mission.” ??
