The U.S. Probation & Pretrial Office works closely with 10 district court judges and 5 magistrate judges in the administration of justice at federal courthouses in Jackson, Gulfport, and Hattiesburg, in addition to federal facilities at Natchez and Meridian. The office is headquartered at the federal courthouse in Jackson and has branch offices at the federal courthouses in Gulfport and Hattiesburg. Our employees include pretrial and post-supervision officers, information technology specialists, budget and procurement personnel, human resources professionals, and support staff, all of whom are committed to protecting the public and assisting in the fair administration of justice.
