Founder & CEO at US Mobile

$100MM in ARR and 10 Years Later: Lessons, Memories, and Gratitude It’s hard to put into words what the past 10 years have meant. From a big idea to hitting $100MM in annual recurring revenue, the journey of building US Mobile has been nothing short of extraordinary. The road hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been filled with more victories than setbacks, thanks to the remarkable people I’ve had the honor of working alongside. As I pause to reflect, here are some personal and professional lessons that have shaped me and, in many ways, shaped US Mobile's success: 1.?Find a partner early— Having someone by your side, who believes in you and supports you, is invaluable. Life and business are both full of ups and downs, and a strong partner helps you navigate them all. 2.?Friends and siblings are life’s greatest gifts. They’re the ones who stand by you through the highs and lows, providing strength, laughter, and perspective when you need it most. 3. Kids are the hardest thing you'll ever love doing (Have lots if you can) If you think launching a startup is hard, try explaining to a 5-year-old why they can’t have ice cream every night for dinner.?They demand everything from you, but they give back more than you’ll ever expect. 4. Real success is when people who matter take your calls. The real measure of success is the relationships you build and the respect you earn along the way. 5. Your health (mental and physical) is your most valuable asset. No startup, no project, no career is worth more than your well-being. Prioritize it, fiercely. 6. Take lots of pictures. When the dust settles, it’s those moments—big and small—that will remind you why you did it all in the first place. 7. Time heals bad memories and turns them into something good What feels painful today softens with time. The hard moments, the failures—they eventually become the lessons that shape you, the moments that made you stronger. One day, you’ll look back and realize those struggles were the turning points that defined your journey. 8. Karma is real, and generosity always wins. Be kind, be generous, even when people don’t deserve it. Because in the long run, karma’s got your back, and being the bigger person is always the winning strategy. 9. People will screw you over—and it’s OK. It happens, and it’s not fun. But don’t let it harden you. Keep giving, keep trusting. Kindness outlasts the betrayals. 10. Bad news before good news Being upfront with the tough stuff may be uncomfortable, but it always helps in the end. 11. Never give up a good chance to shut up. Listening is a superpower and there is profound wisdom in restraint. 12. Front-load the pain. Tackle the hardest tasks, the toughest parts of the workout, the most challenging assignments early on. Here’s to the next chapter! Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this journey. Couldn’t have gotten this far without all of you. ?? #USMobile #10Years #StartupLife #Gratitude p.s I am still bad at some of these
