We hosted our MSFIRST Engine Summit earlier this month in Jackson, MS. MSFIRST’s vision is to promote food security and climate resilience by leveraging regional talent, resources, and stakeholder capabilities to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem. This ecosystem will fortify food production and distribution, subsequently improving public health, reducing poverty, creating and retaining a diverse pool of skilled technical workers, and improving economic diversity in historically marginalized communities. We will be discussing this engine and how aquaculture comes into play at our Gulf Blue Networking event happening on September 11th from 5-7pm at the Gulf and Ship Island Building in Gulfport, MS. You can register here: https://lnkd.in/eDF9c5cj Learn more about the MSFIRST engine here: https://lnkd.in/eFYbFvu5
