Vorige maand paste het Obesitascentrum van ZAS in primeur een nieuwe techniek toe bij een maagverkleining via de slokdarm ????. Met de verbeterde techniek zijn de hechtingen steviger en hebben pati?nten minder last van pijn, misselijkheid en andere ongemakken ?????? Dé expert voor de techniek kwam eind februari vanuit Barcelona naar ZAS Cadix om hem aan te leren. ?? Minder ingrijpend, sneller herstel. Een maagverkleining via de slokdarm laat toe te opereren zonder grote insnijding en littekens. Zo’n niet-invasieve operatie is bij ZAS al 7 jaar mogelijk. De ingreep duurt slechts 35 minuten?en pati?nten kunnen dezelfde dag nog naar huis. Mensen die voor deze ingreep in aanmerking komen, hebben een BMI tussen de 30 en de 35. Voor hen kan de nieuwe techniek in combinatie met een gezondere levensstijl een structurele oplossing zijn ????♂?. In sommige gevallen is medicatie ter ondersteuning nog nodig, maar dan ligt de kostprijs ervan wel lager. There’s two POSE 2 Double Helix training course held in Taiwan and there’s more than 50 GI endoscopists and Bariatric surgeons participated this two event. We’re very happy we can introduce this reliable procedure to Taiwan to help more people. We had trained more than 100 doctors and I believe more patients will benefit from this amazing procedure.

Este evento ha sido una excelente plataforma para consolidar la técnica MEGA, uno de los tratamientos mínimamente invasivos más avanzados en el manejo de la obesidad. Durante las jornadas, se intercambiaron conocimientos y experiencias entre profesionales de renombre, abriendo nuevas oportunidades para el desarrollo de enfoques endoscópicos innovadores en el tratamiento de la obesidad.
