?? Making U.S. Ag Greenhouse Gas Negative: 5 Areas of Opportunity A new peer-reviewed report, written by 26 leading research scientists, outlines how U.S. agriculture can offset its carbon footprint while increasing farmer profitability and resilience. The study, The Potential for U.S. Agriculture to Be Greenhouse Gas Negative, identifies five areas of opportunity to help agriculture reach net-negative emissions: soil carbon, nitrogen fertilizer, animal production, crop production/the yield gap, and energy use. On April 9, U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action CEO, Kevin Burkum, will unpack the report’s key findings, joined by Ronald Gill, Partner at Gill Cattle Company, to explore how these suggested practices are being implemented on U.S. farms and ranches. Join the discussion and discover how innovation is shaping a more sustainable future for U.S. agriculture! Want to attend as a delegate?
