USF Moot Court kicked off the Spring Competition Season on February 1, with our teams delivering incredible performances on both coasts! Right here in San Francisco, USF's team of Samara Salaheddine (3L), Brad Bergman (3L), Jeremy Zerkle (2L), and Miyana Leggett (2L) took home FIRST Place Overall AND Best Oral Argument in the Western Regionals of the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. The team is now preparing for Nationals in Washington DC in March! USF's team of Jackie Nemanich (3L), Cailey Tuers (2L), and Jack Saroy (2L) also delivered an incredible performance, securing THIRD Overall. On the same day across the country in New Orleans, USF's team of Dominic Aguirre (3L), John-Mark Brenda (3L), and Shahe Kazazian (3L) went head-to-head with 48 teams in the Tulane Professional Football Negotiations Competition and finished an impressive FOURTH. USF's talented 2L team of Stephanie Cohen, Cassidy Graf, and Leah Taylor also rose to the occasion and delivered a strong performance at this competition. None of this success would be possible without the incredible support of our student and practitioner coaches. A huge thank you to Meghan Killian ('15), Calla Yee ('15), and Gurinder Jassar ('24), as well as our dedicated student coaches Sabrina Murugesu, Jaime Hernandez, Dominic Aguirre, and Keaton Maring for their time, guidance, and commitment to these teams. Your mentorship makes all the difference!
