??What an incredible day at the USF Law Review Symposium!?? We were honored to host over 150 attendees—practitioners, advocates, students, faculty, and more—for an insightful discussion on the evolving legal regimes governing migration. The speakers were nothing short of phenomenal, shedding light on how migration impacts our communities and the urgent need for thoughtful, informed advocacy. Thank you to our speakers and panelists, to our Symposium Editor (Aram Manoukian), and to everyone who joined us for this important conversation. Together, we’re working toward a more just and equitable future. ?? #USFLawReview #Symposium #MigrationLaw #LegalCommunity #AdvocacyInAction #USF

During 3L, I was honored to serve as USF Law Review's Managing Editor for Volume 58. And now, I am honored to be published in USF Law Review Volume 58. I wrote this piece in the aftermath of the Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News case, in which Fox News paid Dominion Voting Systems a $787 million settlement on the eve of its defamation trial for the blatant lies Fox News broadcast about the validity of the 2020 presidential election. Rather than answer for its actions in a public trial, Fox News got to negotiate away its wrongdoing behind closed doors. I invite you to read my piece on the USF Law Review Forum for suggestions I make to address settlements like these: https://bit.ly/3yHOgfK When I hold these issues in my hands, I see more than my essay being published in USF Law Review. I see a physical manifestation of the teamwork that the Volume 58 editors and staffers put into this tri-annual publication. Being Managing Editor of USF Law Review was one of the most challenging experiences of my law school career, but I am so grateful to have this physical item that will always sit on my bookshelf as a reminder of what ended up being the most rewarding experience of my law school career as well.
