An Inspirational Day at Roland Park K-8 Magnet School: Our USF College of Engineering students, Hannah Taylor, Aaron Johnson, Nicole Quintana Gonzalez, NiKaria Allen, Claire Messerschmidt, Sara Perez Soto De Paiva, Vandana Maharaj, Zeki Sert, and Urvi Jain, recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Great American Teach-In. This wasn't just a visit; it was a chance to ignite a spark in the bright, young minds of elementary students through hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Our students introduced these eager learners to the wonders of robotics and the limitless potential of 3D printing, opening their eyes to the fascinating world of STEM. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by these young students were truly heartwarming, showcasing the immense value of early STEM education. Special thanks to Dr. Olukemi Akintewe from USF Department of Medical Engineering, Dr. Brett Freidkes from USF Mechanical Engineering and their brilliant team, who not only shared their knowledge but also their passion for STEM, making a meaningful impact on these young minds. This event was more than just a teaching opportunity; it was a bridge connecting the current and future generations of innovators. We're proud to have played a small, yet significant role in nurturing the next generation of engineers and scientists. #STEMEducation #FutureInnovators #GreatAmericanTeachIn #EngineeringImpact"
