    HUGE announcement that Varun Nair is now Conversion's newest Growth Engineer. Varun is leaving his Big Tech, remote-friendly job at Coinbase in NYC to take a small pay cut and come work 6 days per week in person in San Francisco. Why would anyone do that? I've known Varun since we were at UC Berkeley together, and after failing to convince him over the phone to come join, I invited him to join the team for lunch casually. After that 30 minute lunch, Varun was sold. In his words, "there was something about being in a group of 15 young hustlers trying to change the world that you just don't get at Big Tech." Varun wants to win, have fun building amazing things quickly and autonomously, and eventually, become a generational founder. We believe Conversion is the perfect place for him to get all those things done. Varun - welcome and congratulations on the new gig and move to the west coast. We are super pumped to see you grow with us!

    We went from $0 to $6M ARR in under 18 months using primarily paid marketing channels (especially Google Ads). The best part? We spent <$2M to do it.     Today, I'm excited to welcome?Swamik Lamichhane (ex-Forward, Harvey Mudd) to the Conversion team! Swam was referred to us by?Sam Bochner,?who gave him the highest praise: “Swam doesn’t quit until the job’s done.” That alone was enough to pique our interest. When?Charlie He and I first had him come on-site, we asked about his firmware experience. He simply smiled and said, “I learned it on the job.” Turns out he joined Forward with zero hardware background, but within weeks he’d become a go-to engineer - writing firmware from scratch and tackling new challenges without hesitation. That’s exactly what we look for at Conversion: people who see the unknown as a playground, not a roadblock. We don’t bother with story points or detailed estimates. Instead, we give our engineers large, open-ended tasks to tackle head-on. Swam was a perfect fit for this from day one.     We spent $30k on a new domain name. Then we rebranded, launched, and deployed a fresh new identity in just 21 days.??? ?? Today, StyleAI is officially Conversion, because the name should match our true mission: turning data into growth and traffic into tangible results, driving conversions as the north star for all customers. When James Jiao and I first started StyleAI, our pitch was straightforward: build a fully custom, conversion-focused landing page in 3 minutes with GPT. That alone was a huge leap for many businesses, but it was always just the start. Through a lot of research and working closely with customers, we identified the next most important needs for digital-native businesses who want to grow their inbound. We added SEO (Seona), Google Ads (Adwin), predictive analytics, and an AI-driven data layer powering it all. 6,000 customers later, the “StyleAI” name just didn’t cover it anymore. Plus, I was tired of people thinking I was?Dhruv Bindra. ?? Why “Conversion”? We chose “Conversion” because it’s the one outcome that truly matters - turning visitors into customers, leads into loyalists, and traffic into trust. Our entire team is aligned on this north star, delivering real ROI and attributable conversions in a landscape where AI and SaaS businesses often struggle to prove their value. What This Means: 1. A New Unified Brand Experience ????- You’ll see our new identity across the platform, website, and socials - same mission and vision, but sharper look and copy that reflects what we do best. 2. Refined Dashboards & Tools ????- We’re streamlining the UI for better collaboration, simpler funnels, and deeper data insights. 3. More AI-Powered Insights ????- Our analytics engine is learning from your usage, delivering predictive recommendations that cut through the noise, all powered by our shared data layer Workshop. 4. Community & Education ????- Expect more Q&As, webinars, and resources from Conversion. We’re doubling down on empowering our community. We truthfully haven’t done a good job here, and this is a big focus of Q1 (as well as more Linkedin posts from me….) Huge shout-out to the entire team who managed to make this happen in just 21 days.?Kyle Wonzen and?Levi Kline were incredible for taking this from 0→1 in three weeks, and?Matthew Rowland and?Timofey Makhlay are two of the best frontend executioners in the bay. From design to engineering, it was an all-hands sprint, and we are extremely excited to show you what’s to come.
