Product Design for Early-Stage Startup’s → No BS → Top 3% Global Talent → Helped Raised $80.3M With My Design → +2600% Growth in 14 Months → Proven design systems to improve your Startup's experience.

Your product’s first impression can make it or break it. But what does the first impression actually mean? It’s all about a polished product design that keeps users coming back. So how UX/UI can make or break your startup’s first impressions? 1. First impressions matter more than you think. Did you know that it takes just 0.5 seconds to form an opinion by users? So what should you do: → Invest in a sleek design. → Make navigation easy and intuitive. → Remove unnecessary distractions. Your first impression sets the tone for user trust. 2. Polished UI builds credibility. For users good design means professionalism: → Make sure your product align with your brand. → Keep layouts clean and user-friendly. → Avoid cluttered screens. A polished UI enhances trust and quality. 3. Intuitive UX brings engagement. Great user experience encourages users to view more: → Simplify user flows. → Make CTAs clear. → Minimize load times. The easier the experience, the longer user will stay. 4. Busy interfaces kill conversions. Complex designs confuse and frustrate users: → Focus on main features. → Organize content so it’s clear. → Prioritize what matters most. Straight design improves user retention. 5. Consistency is key to build trust. Your product should feel unified, from screens to interactions: → Stick to brand color scheme. → Keep fonts and button styles consistent. → Align elements logically. Consistent design create comfort. 6. User feedback matters. Users will tell you exactly where things break: → Implement feedback forms. → Let users test early and often. → Prioritize feedback based on usability. Listening to users improve your product long-term. 7. UX/UI reduce churn. A good design is less frustrating, which equals less drop-offs: → Optimize for mobile-first. → Make key actions easy to access. → Every touchpoint should be clear. Smooth experience keeps users coming back. Great products start with great design. Never underestimate the power of a good UX/UI—your first impression can turn users into customers easily. – If you'd like to talk more about how design can elevate your startup's success, feel free to schedule a virtual coffee with me! → Link in Bio. Why Startups Can't Afford to Ignore Good Design https://lnkd.in/dc5X-ZTA

Product Design for Early-Stage Startup’s → No BS → Top 3% Global Talent → Helped Raised $80.3M With My Design → +2600% Growth in 14 Months → Proven design systems to improve your Startup's experience.

All startup's are working on design. But most of them don't understand its true power. Why as a Founder you shouldn't ignore that problem? Startups move fast, but in the rush to build, launch, and scale, one critical element often gets sidelined:?design. And no, I’m not just talking about making things “look good.” Good design is the foundation of trust, usability, and scalability—and when it’s ignored, the cracks show quickly. From driving away customers to eroding investor confidence, bad design silently drains a startup’s potential. As someone who’s seen the difference good design can make (and the damage caused by ignoring it), let me break it down for you:?here’s why good design isn’t optional—it’s essential. Why Poor Design is a Startup Killer? 1. First Impressions Count Users make snap judgments. A poorly designed website or app can make your startup look unprofessional, pushing potential customers (or investors) to your competitors. 2. Usability Drives Retention If users struggle to understand or navigate your product, they’ll leave. Good design ensures your value is delivered clearly and effortlessly. 3. Your Competition is Ruthless In a crowded market, you’re not just competing on features—you’re competing for attention. Design sets you apart when the playing field is level. 4. Design Builds Trust In seconds, users decide if they trust your product. Clear, professional design communicates credibility and makes people more likely to engage. 5. Bad Design Costs More Later Skimping on design today can mean expensive fixes tomorrow—think rebranding, customer churn, or having to overhaul a clunky user experience. 6. Investors Notice Everything Good design signals that you’re serious about your business and focused on your users. It’s a subtle yet powerful way to win investor confidence. Let’s Talk ?? Ignoring design is like building a house without a blueprint—it might hold up for a while, but cracks will show when it matters most. Have you seen startups thrive (or struggle) because of design decisions? I’d love to hear your thoughts—what role do you think good design plays in startup success? Let’s discuss!

Consistency! It's not easy but it's soooo important on designing any type of web apps. It helps with: - Understanding pages at a glance (What's a cta? What's a navigation?) - Behaviour expectations (Is navigation reliable? Do buttons behave how I expect?) - Development and design implication (Tweaks have to rolled out many times, accessibility solutions can't be propagated, designers solve the same problems repeatedly) - Simplicity for the user, leading to reduced cognitive load Yours, Adam Jaa from usershape Found it useful? ?? Shadows - how to make them better? What common mistake we all make in UI design is, we think we need a black color with opacity to make a shadow. Shadows are never black. Shadow is the object’s color tone shaded by the value tones. Yours, Adam Jaa from usershape Found it useful? ?? Like it , ??
