DARO Raises $1.1M to Revolutionize Pathogen Surveillance in Livestock Production We’re excited to announce that DARO has raised $1.1 million to expand our whole-herd, non-invasive disease surveillance technology. Livestock diseases like PRRSV cost the U.S. pork industry over $1.2 billion annually, yet current testing methods are often reactive and limited. DARO’s approach enables early detection, helping producers prevent outbreaks before they start. This funding, led by Invest Nebraska with participation from MOVE Venture Capital, Nebraska Angels, and other angel investors, will allow us to: ? Scale pilot programs with leading pork producers and veterinary teams ? Advance our proprietary disease forecasting and genomics platform ?
